The steepist hill in the world

hi all,
Didnt talk to you at all about carlingford.it was amazing. we went to carlingford adventure centre in co. louth. we went on monday the 12th of september. we had to get up at like 5:30am to leave at like 7 from the local petrol station.we got a double decker bus it was awesome we sang songs from the radio and talke with are friends. when we arrived in carlingford we were spilt in to 2 groups of about 40. then we were thrown in to activities. first we had the challenge corse. The challenge course was amazing we had to do loads of different tasks and for each task we completed we got crystals. the hardest activity was the spider web that was so much fun but it was so hard at the same time. It was when there was thirteen holes made of rope in the shape of a spider web. we had to get 10 girls through we had lift people throw people make like a wheel barrow to get people through. it was so much work but it was fun in the end.then we went back to the adventure centre and eat lunch but after lunch we did laser shooting that was amazing we all wore laser bands on our head and comoflage out fits Mrs B was amazing she killed everyone. my guns name was Viper. i wasnt very good at aiming but then i became the medic and that was so much fun healing every one. Walking around between the different activities there was a hill i really shouldnt call it a hill it was a monter we  nearly hasd to climb this hill on our hands and knees it was so steep we were all out of breath due to this hill carlingford was nicknamed FAT CAMP. When we got back to the centre we had dinner. (which i didnt eat I had Chinese food intsead)after dinner we went on a night line which was hike in the dark that was good fun. then when we got back the night warden luke did a fire show that was good fun.we went to our rooms at 11 and then didnt really sleep. but the next morning we really wished we had bacause we were told we were going oreintering never again is all i can say i have never been more tired in my entire life it was all up hill we all got lost chased by goats and then didnt even find all the clues we were supposed to. the only good thing was that in the middle of it we did archery and i got 2 bulleseyes yeah that was good fun that after noon we di the rock climbing well everyone else did you had no chance of getting me up in that harness i black out when i go to high you have no chance of me goping 50m abouve the ground no chance . the worst part of the week end was going home :(

projects ,projects ,projects

hi all
settling in to ty and its grat having so much fun i dont think i have ever been on a computer so much in my life. but with all the projects we have its un real we have been getting ready for the BT young scientist and that is really hard because within your group you have to come up with a project idea gather research and then you have to write a proposal and then see it through. we are also doing a project in geography and irish, in geography we have to create a world tour with your partner we have to pick 6 countries and then write about how you are going to get there how your goingf to travel there how much is it going to cost and then will you have enough with your budget of 12000 euros. In music today we did an african chant itr was really complicated and we all got really confused but it was fun we had different groups. i was told i was singing off key. ooopppppss. theres so much to tell you about that is going on in ty but i feel like theres just not enough time with everything going on its so compecated with all the projects going on. like in irish we have to make a scrap book about are lives.The fun walk is coming up. for those who dont know what that is its a walk that are school does to raise money for charites and we are given a communal theme and each years are given colours TY was giving yellow oh yeah. we have a to pick a song to preform a dance and that repersents friendship and that you are against bullying . time to go

hello everyone,
this week was awesome we had a social development day it was so much fun. A man named Austin came and talked to us. he was lovely he talked to us about confidence and perspective and how people are either introverted or extroverted. i happen to be an introverted person that means i am quiet and shy and prefer to be with a small group of friend rather then a large group of acquaintances. he talked to us about different categories in life there were the directors(the mad bulls) the entertainers(the mad cows) the mediators(the dogs) and the observer(the cool cats) they were seperated in to different colours red for the bulls yellow for the cows green for the dogs and blue for the cats. i happen to be a blue an observer this means that i am a verey organised person i like to have order in  my life. we did a group game after we were sorted and you could see that the groups traits really shined in this exercise. Also this week we payed for Carlingford we are going soon. For those who dont know Carlingford is an adventure centre in co. louth . i cant wait to go it is supposed to be really good. I'm super exited .the only problem is that we have to get up at some redeculase hour to go we have to leave at like 7 in the morning. oh god the horror. On the upside today we have pilaties and dancing the charleston and 1920 styles and photography it will be awesome i cant wait we do it with different people and even a teacher in the school. Ms O really knows her dance. i love it. i have to go now my class is over .Will blog again soon.
